Therapy for Individuals

Therapy for anyone tired of saying “it’s fine,” when it’s not.

Maybe you’ve been the “strong one” for as long as you can remember — the caretaker, the achiever, the peacekeeper, or maybe all of those at once.

You’ve learned to read the room, say the right thing, and make sure everyone else is okay. Your life looks good on paper, and you reminder yourself all the time that you should feel grateful for that.

But underneath? You’re tired. Something feels off, but you can’t quite name it. You’ve carried so much for so long, it feels like this low-level ache is just life now.

There’s a real loneliness in always being the steady one. But you’re not broken. You’ve adapted to belong, but you don’t have to carry the stories and survival strategies that no longer fit.

You deserve more—more ease, more truth, more connection, more of the real you. In our work, we’ll make room for your grief, your longing, your complexity. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (parts work) with attachment-focused and mindfulness-based approaches to help you get out of your head and back into your body—where real change happens.

Together, we’ll:

  • Unpack stuck roles and reconnect with what matters

  • Move through anxiety, burnout, or depression with compassion

  • Heal wounds that keep you feeling small or disconnected

  • Learn what safety, self-trust, and belonging feel like—in your body, not just your mind

You get to better understand yourself and step into a way of living that is more connected, compassionate, courageous, and clear. If something inside is whispering for more, maybe it’s time to listen.

Reach out when you’re ready—I’d be honored to listen and learn with you.

All your questions, answered:

  • I’m a generalist, which means I work with a wide range of stuff—anxiety, depression, grief, and all the messy in-between.

That said, I’m especially drawn to working with people who want to show up more honestly in their relationships, are going through big life transitions, or are ready to break free from old stories that don’t fit anymore. My clients are usually great at intellectualizing, have a great sense of humor (all the better for deflecting, my dear), and don’t mind challenging the status-quo.

My approach is eclectic and relational. I pull from a mix of mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential-humanism, and DBT—depending on what’s needed on any given day. But honestly, the heart of the work is the relationship we build together. That’s where the trust, safety, and real change happens.

A quick heads-up: I’m not the best fit for folks dealing with active addiction, eating disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, or psychosis. If that’s what you’re navigating, I’ll always try to help you find someone who’s the right match.

  • I do not work with children or adolescents under the age of 16. I do, however, work with older teens who are self-motivated to engage in therapy.

  • It's important to me that my services are offered at rates that are on par with the average for our community.

Individual session rates are as follows:

    • 15 Minute Consultation: Free

    • Initial 50-minute intake session, which includes an assessment of your personal history, including family of origin, challenging life experiences, current and historical well-being, goals, and strengths.: $185

    • Subsequent 50-minute sessions, devoted to time spent working on goals outlined in treatment plan and/or current life challenges and topics you would like to focus on: $165

  • Yes! I work with the following insurance providers:

    • Aetna

    • Allegiance

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • Boulder Admin

    • Cigna

    • Mountain Health Co-Op

Please note that in order to bill insurance for services, you must meet diagnostic criteria for a mental health condition as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM).

Be sure to ask your insurance provider what your mental/behavioral health benefits are, and whether they cover billing codes “90791” and “90837.”

If you are uninsured or insured by an insurance provider not listed above, we can explore private pay and super bill options.

  • Yes, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who are uninsured at the rate of $75-$150 per session, depending on ability to pay.

  • Regular, weekly sessions help keep things moving and give our work some consistency. That said, I know that some folks juggle a lot —and sometimes every other week makes more sense. We’ll find a pace that feels doable and supportive, without adding more pressure to your plate.

  • Therapy can help you make sense of what you’re feeling and why. It gives you space to untangle old patterns, learn how to handle stress and conflict differently, and start showing up in your life with more clarity and self-trust.

Whether you’re working through past pain, going through a big life shift, or just feeling ready for something to change, therapy can help you reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the kind of life that actually feels like yours.

  • Unfortunately, there’s no timeline or one right way to do therapy. Some people want space to dig deep long-term, others want to focus on specific issues for a shorter time.

You know what you need, and I’m here to help figure out what works for you.

But the biggest factor in making progress? Showing up regularly with someone you trust—usually weekly. If that someone ends up being me, I’ll check in often to make sure we’re on track and that the approach feels right for you.

You’ll notice that when you show up honestly, consistently, and with a willingness to do the work outside of sessions - that’s when you’ll see change happen.

  • While I always prefer to meet in-person, I do offer sessions via Telehealth to clients who are physically present in the state of Montana.

  • Fill out my contact form and I’ll do my best to be in touch with you within 2 business days. We will get a 15-minute free consultation set up to see make sure I’m a good fit and answer any other questions you have.
