Come Back to Yourself and the People You Love.
Support for individuals and couples who are ready to stop pretending it’s “fine” (when it’s not).
You deserve more than just “fine.”
Do you ever get the feeling that you’ve been carrying too much for too long? You’ve done everything you know how to do so far to get through it - to figure it out, forget about it, wait for it to pass - but nothing has worked in the way that you hoped it would.
I’ve been there before, too, and it sucks. Even though life feels heavy right now, you have hope that things can be different. Some part of you knows you don’t have to face these challenges by yourself anymore, and therapy can help.
Whether you’re dealing with relationship tension, grieving a loss, or just feeling the heavy weight of being human, I’m here to help you find steadier ground. Here, we can work together to help you live more honestly, connect more deeply, and face change with clarity, courage, and compassion.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I hope we’ll get a chance to talk more.
What I Offer:

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same old patterns, or reeling from a big life shift, individual therapy gives you space and support to find your footing again.
I work with folks who are ready to get curious about themselves. To slow down, ask questions, and find their way back to what matters. Whether it’s grief, relationship pain, burnout, or just the sense that life isn’t quite adding up, this process can arm you with the insight, skills and tools to navigate it with a little more ease.

We’ve all heard ‘relationships are hard.’ And while that can be true, it doesn’t have to feel impossible. If you’re stuck in the same fights, drifting toward feeling like roommates, or just unsure if you’re still in it, couples support gives you space to hit pause, be honest, and see what’s really happening.
I draw from Gottman and EFT-informed approaches to help couples stop the blame game, take a clear look at their relationship, and decide what comes next—whether that’s deepening your connection or moving forward with clarity, courage, and compassion.

After the excitement of engagement and wedding planning, comes real life — and with it, the opportunity to build a strong, lasting partnership. My approach to premarital work is secular, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ affirming, designed to support all couples in laying a solid foundation for the road ahead.
Using the Gottman Method, we’ll dig into what really matters, build practical tools for communication and conflict, and create a partnership that can weather the real stuff — together.

Hi, I’m Kate!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and trained coaching professional based in Whitefish, Montana, and I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or tired of pretending everything is “fine.”
In our work together, you’ll have a space to be fully seen and heard, imperfections, contradictions, and all. My approach is warm, practical, and deeply human, with no pretense or judgment, just support for the work you want to do. Whether you’re here to process your own experiences, build clarity and acceptance, or strengthen your connection with a partner, we’ll focus on what matters most to you at a pace that feels right.
I draw from evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, DBT, and ACT, but more than any method, our work is about what actually helps you. Together, we’ll explore, get curious, and find ways for you to feel more grounded, more authentic, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about.
