Come Back to Yourself and the People You Love.
Individual and couples therapy for people who are ready to stop pretending it’s “fine” (when it’s not.)
You deserve more than just “fine.”
Do you ever get the feeling that you’ve been carrying too much for too long? You’ve done everything you know how to do so far to get through it - to figure it out, forget about it, wait for it to pass - but nothing has worked in the way that you hoped it would.
I’ve been there before, too, and it sucks. Even though life feels heavy right now, you have hope that things can be different. Some part of you knows you don’t have to face these challenges by yourself anymore, and therapy can help.
Whether you’re dealing with relationship tension, grieving a loss, or just feeling the heavy weight of being human, I’m here to help you find steadier ground. In therapy, we can work together to help you live more honestly, connect more deeply, and face change with clarity, courage, and compassion.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I hope we’ll get a chance to talk more.
What I Offer:
-
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same old patterns, or reeling from a big life shift, individual therapy gives you space to breathe, feel what’s real, and find your footing again.
I work with folks who are ready to get curious — to slow down, be a little kinder to themselves, and find their way back to what matters. Whether it’s grief, relationship pain, burnout, or just the sense that life isn’t quite adding up, we’ll make space for the mess, the meaning, and everything in between.
-
We’ve all heard “relationships are hard.” Yeah, that’s true — but it doesn’t have to be this hard. If you’re caught in the same fights, feeling more like roommates, or just not sure if you’re still in it, couples therapy gives you a chance to hit pause, be honest, and figure out what’s really going on.
I work with couples who want to stop blaming, take a good look at their relationship, and figure out what comes next — whether that’s healing or moving on with clarity.
-
After the excitement of engagement and wedding planning, comes real life — and with it, the opportunity to build a strong, lasting partnership. My approach to premarital work is secular, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ affirming, designed to support all couples in laying a solid foundation for the road ahead.
Using the Gottman Method, we’ll dig into what really matters, build practical tools for communication and conflict, and create a partnership that can weather the real stuff — together.

Hi, I’m Kate!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in beautiful Whitefish, Montana, and I work with folks who feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or just plain tired of pretending things are “fine.”
My approach is warm, practical, and deeply human. Clients have described me as down-to-earth, vibrant, and easy to talk to. I bring my full, imperfect, tattooed self into the therapy room with you so you have permission to do the same. You’ll find that I’m just as comfortable quoting Mary Oliver as I am Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and the only thing that delights me more than a perfectly placed pun is a breakthrough in session.
I’ll meet you right where you are in the therapy space. No judgment, no pretending. We’ll get into the stuff that matters to you at a pace that feels right - building the kind of trust that helps you feel more like yourself and allows you to connect in more meaningful ways with the people who matter most.
I draw from evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) (to name a few.)
But more than any model, it’s about finding what actually works for you — getting curious, staying present, and helping you live a life that feels aligned, honest, and truly your own.
